“Stephen’s contributions to this program go far beyond his time at Princeton,” said Bradley. “He’s been great ambassador for this team and the alumni base and is a more than deserving recipient of this honor!”

The Peters Award is awarded annually at the Reunions alumni baseball game to an alumnus who has made significant contributions to the game of baseball at any level following his graduation or, having played baseball at Princeton, has distinguished himself after graduation in his chosen field of endeavor. Wendell, along with his father, Charlie, and former Princeton teammate, Ryan Reich ’04 founded Mountain Shore Properties, a real estate development company with a portfolio in commercial, hotel and residential properties. Mountain Shore Properties has won many awards including North American Developer of the Year by Hyatt Hotels in 2019.

Wendell was a four-year letterwinner for Princeton, helping the Tigers win three Ivy League titles in 2003, 2004 and 2006.
