Summer League Wrapping Up With A Few Playoff Bound Tigers

Jackson Emus starts in game two of the NECBL North Division Semifinals tonight for the North Shore Navigators

Here’s an update on how some of Princeton Tigers are performing this summer …

Some leagues do not have updated stats.

Nadir Lewis – Green Bay Booyah – Northwoods League – Lewis has picked up hits in nine of his last 11 games. In 55 outings, Lewis is hitting .243 with six home runs, 29 RBI and 18 stolen bases.

 

Jackson Emus – North Shore Navigators – New England Collegiate Baseball League – The Navigators are currently up one game to none in the North Division Semifinals. Emus will start in game two tonight. This season, Emus has recorded a 2.27 ERA with 36 strikeouts in 35 2/3 innings.

 

Noah Granet – Vermont Lake Monsters – Futures League – In 36 games, Granet hit .252 with a .358 on-base percentage for the Lake Monsters in 36 games.

 

Brendan Cumming – Mystic Schooners – New England Collegiate Baseball League – Cumming’s magical season for the Schooners wrapped up as the team lost in the playoffs. In that loss, Cumming had two hits and got on base three times. In 35 regular season games, the Princeton Tiger hit .398 with a .487 on-base percentage and .526 slugging percentage. He added a home run, 20 RBI, 36 runs and 12 stolen bases.

 

Scott Bandura – DC Grays – Cal Ripken League – The DC Grays’ season ended with a loss in the league semifinals to the eventual champions, the Bethesda Big Train. He finished the regular season with a .351/.484/.505 slash line, adding four home runs, 26 RBI, 21 walks and 31 stolen bases. His 31 steals led the league while he was in the top 10 in four other offensive categories.

 

Matt Scannell – Madison Mallards – Northwoods League – Scannell has contributed a .339 on-base percentage in 44 games for the Mallards.

Kyle Vinci – Albany Dutchmen – Perfect Game League – Vinci has two home runs in 11 games for the Dutchmen. He’s out after suffering an injury.

 

Jason Ramirez – Trenton Generals – Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League – Ramirez has posted 24 strikeouts in 33 1/3 innings this season in 10 games.

Keith Gabrielson – Trenton Thunder – MLB Draft League – Gabrielson has struck out 11 in 14 2/3 innings.

 

Tom Chmielewski – Forest City Owls – Coastal Plain League – Chmielewski has struck out 39 in 44 2/3 innings for the Owls.

 

Caden Shapiro – Trenton Generals – Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League – Shapiro has scored seven runs in 16 games. He’s also struck out seven in seven innings on the mound.
