The Longhorn Foundation launches the United Texas Circle

AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Athletics and the Longhorn Foundation announced Friday the formation of the United Texas Circle, a philanthropic giving society built to enhance the student-athlete experience on the Forty Acres.

Created to recognize donors whose commitments go above and beyond their seat-related giving, the United Texas Circle will help the financial resources for current Texas Athletics needs, while allowing our student-athletes to grow as people, develop as leaders, and succeed as competitors.

“I’ve said it many times, ‘A United Texas is a reckoning!’ The United Texas Circle will ensure we continue to build on the culture of excellence at The University of Texas,” Vice President and Athletics Director, Chris Del Conte said. “I’m grateful for those considering a donation that will provide essential resources to our athletic programs and have a profound impact on current and future Longhorn student-athletes.”

To be part of the United Texas Circle, donors must pledge a minimum of $20,000 a year (above and beyond seat-related gifts) for five years. Based on the level of commitment, members will receive a variety of benefits during the duration of their pledge agreement, including exclusive access, opportunities, and unique Texas Athletics experiences tailored to the donor’s preference.

“We’re excited to launch the United Texas Circle which will impact all student-athletes and athletic programs at Texas,” said Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director Andrew Hamor. “Longhorn Foundation donors have been so generous and supportive over the years and this program provides a way for us to continue growing that support as we continue to strive for excellence in all 20 sports.”

Membership levels within the United Texas Circle include $100,000+, $250,000+, $500,000+, $1M+, and $5M+ over a five-year period. Seat-related gifts do not count toward one’s pledge and membership level. Only philanthropic gifts will allow membership to the United Texas Circle.

A financial commitment to the United Texas Circle provides the highest level of impact for the 500+ Texas student-athletes competing for the Burnt Orange & White. The top priority of the United Texas Circle is to secure the financial resources for current Texas Athletics needs. Your commitment can be designated to Longhorn Excellence, Capital Support, 4Ever TexasEndowments, or Irrevocable Planned Giving.
