Baseball’s Feller, Giberti, Pauley Garner Academic All-District Accolades
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University baseball senior catcher Sawyer Feller, senior outfielder Matt Giberti, and sophomore right-handed pitcher Truman Pauley have all earned CSC Academic All-District accolades, College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Feller claimed Honorable Mention All-Ivy honors for the first time in his time at Harvard in 2025. In Ivy play this spring, he hit .286 with a .420 OBP, 20 hits, 15 runs, 10 RBIs, three doubles, and a home run. Feller started all 21 of the Crimson’s Ivy games at catcher.
An Honorable Mention All-Ivy and Academic All-Ivy selection in 2025, Giberti notched a .288 batting average, 44 hits, 30 runs, 19 RBIs, and a 21-for-24 effort in stolen bases on the year. He ranked first in the Ivy League in stolen bases (19) and second in triples (three). In Ivy only play, he hit .330 with 30 hits, 18 runs, and 12 RBIs. In Ivy competition, the economics concentrator led the league in stolen bases (12) and triples (two), while ranking sixth in hits (30).
A member of the Ivy League Tournament All-Tournament Team and an Honorable Mention All-Ivy pick this past spring, Pauley tallied 91 strikeouts over 70.1 innings pitched on the year. In the NCAA, Pauley ranks third in hits allowed per nine (5.37) and 34th in strikeouts per nine (11.64). In the Ivy League, he ranked first in strikeouts (91), first in opponents’ batting average (.171), and third in innings pitched (70.1). In Ivy only play, he stood second in strikeouts (56), second in opponents’ average (.153), second in wins (four), and seventh in innings pitched (41.2).
To earn CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing and have achieved a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Student-athletes must have competed in 90 percent of the institution’s games played or must have started in at least 66 percent of the institution’s contests. For pitchers, student-athletes must have made 17 appearances or reached 35 innings pitched.
This past season, Harvard qualified for a spot in the 2025 Ivy League Tournament, finishing as the runner-up at the tournament.
