CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Princeton baseball team faced the Harvard Crimson in the rubber match of the series. The game was originally scheduled for April 13 but was postponed due to weather conditions.
The Tigers took a quick 1-0 lead in the top of the first but the advantage was erased when the Crimson put up two in the bottom of the frame.
Will Robbins tied things up at two apiece in the third on a single to centerfield.
Harvard broke the tie in sixth with a single to make it 3-2 before plating two more insurance runs in the eighth.
Grant Werdesheim scored on a wild pitch in the top of the ninth but the deficit was too much for the Tigers to overcome as their season comes to an end.
Justin Kim struck out a career high eight batters in the contest.
