Cortland Challenge, Penn Relays Up Next For Women’s Track & Field
ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell women’s track & field team will have two opportunities this week to put up best marks and times when the Big Red sends competitors to Tuesday’s Cortland CNY College Challenge and this weekend’s Penn Relays.
The CNY College Challenge meet begins at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26 with the field events, while competition on the track starts at 4 p.m. Run out of the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex, the meet will give a number of Big Red athletes a chance to register marks and get outside competition in prior to setting the Heps lineup.
The legendary Penn Relays begin on Thursday, April 28 and the Big Red’s meet begins at 7:50 p.m. when both Erin Hudson and Natalie Morris run in the 5,000 meters. Cornell has also qualified for the college women’s distance medley and will be in search of its first-ever Penn Relays title on the women’s side.
