PRINCETON, N.J.- Jacob Faulkner and Andrew D’Alessio were honored for their strong performances this season as they were named to All-Ivy teams as announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon. Caden Shapiro was also named Academic All-Ivy for the second straight season.

Faulkner was named to the All-Ivy First Team and D’Alessio was named to the All-Ivy Second Team.

Faulkner led the way for the Princeton pitching staff, recording a 4.14 ERA and held a 3.83 ERA in conference play. The senior captain had a complete game against the Cornell Big Red following a save the day before. Faulkner made five starts and had 10 appearances for 47.0 innings of work. He tallied 40 strikeouts against Ivy opponents and 55 on the year. Faulkner earned two wins and two saves including the save over then-ranked No. 12 Wake Forest.

D’Alessio recorded the team’s best ERA in conference play, coming in at 2.10 on his way to a 3-1 record. D’Alessio was part of the combined shutout win against Harvard, tossing 8.0 scoreless innings with a career high eight punchouts. The senior captain threw 30.0 innings and struck out 21 batters.
