PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior right-handed pitcher Jacob Faulkner was named to the 76-player preseason Stopper of the Year Watch List, as announced by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Faulkner is coming off a career year in which he led the Tigers with a 3.14 ERA, eight wins, four saves and a complete game. The Venice, Fla. native tossed 66 innings of work on his way to an 8-1 record. Faulkner racked up 52 punchouts and held opponents to a .247 batting average. Additionally, Faulkner was unanimously named to the Ivy League First-Team and garnered All-Region Status
