New Texas Longhorns mobile app is now LIVE
Beginning today, the official Texas Longhorns mobile app has a brand new layout with exciting features for fans in attendance at Longhorns sporting events across the Forty Acres and for fans at home. The app, supported by Apple and Android devices, is available for download for FREE via the App Store and Google Play and will become the new headquarters for digital fan engagement. If you already have downloaded the app, please make sure you download the latest update beginning September 3 to access the latest features.
Through the Texas Longhorns app, fans will be able to access and manage game tickets for all regular season home events. All fans are encouraged to activate push notifications for important in-venue gameday messaging and exclusive content such as discount offers, in-stadium contests, and more.
In addition to managing your game tickets, there are several new gameday enhancements available on the app beginning with the 2020 Texas Football season including:
- Access the official Texas Football Season Guide beginning later this week
- View the official Texas Football Gameday Program for each game a few days prior to kickoff. The digital programs replace the printed versions handed out in previous seasons and will be available for each home and away game
- Order food and beverage items in advance from select concession locations at home venues including DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. The items can be paid for via the app and picked up at pre-selected times.
- Order gameday merchandise in advance from the Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop and pick up at pre-selected times on gamedays
- Receive special promotions and coupons exclusive to fans attending Texas Longhorns home events
- Participate in Texas Longhorns Bar Trivia, polling, and other games for online interaction with other fans at the game
“Finding innovative ways to interact with Longhorn Nation on their smartphones is a strategic priority for Texas Athletics,” said Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs Drew Martin. “In addition to being the easiest way for fans to manage their tickets, the new Texas Longhorns mobile app will provide countless new opportunities for digital fan engagement inside and outside of our venues.”
Fans at home will have the opportunity to access additional Texas Longhorns content including:
- Real-time news and featured content
- Updated team rosters and stats
- Live gameday radio broadcasts and game streaming links (restrictions apply)
- Unique video content
- Ability to purchase tickets to future Texas Athletics events
- Access to purchase merchandise from the Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop
Fans who already have the Texas Longhorns mobile app downloaded should update it to access the new features.
Mobile Ticketing
To offer greater convenience and safety, mobile-only ticketing will provide contactless entry for all Texas Athletics home events beginning with the 2020 football season. Ticketholders will access tickets through the Texas Longhorns App supports on Apple and Android devices, and available for download via the App Store and Google Play. Tickets will also be available to download and store on your digital wallets. Fans must enter the stadium at the gate assigned on their mobile tickets.
