PRINCETON – Jacob Faulkner was selected as the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week, the league announced.
The junior was the winning pitcher in both Tigers’ victories over the Penn Quakers.

Faulkner corralled three strikeouts in three relief frames, allowing just one hit. He started game three on Sunday (one day later), going six innings for the Tigers, giving up two hits. He struck out five hitters and faced just three batters over the minimum.
This is Faulkner’s first Ivy weekly honor. He’s 6-1 this season in 16 appearances with a 3.11 ERA in 46 1/3 innings.
