Baseball Mourns Passing of Joseph J. O’Donnell ’67
Friends of Harvard Baseball Community and Beyond –
It is with sadness that I inform you Joseph J. O’Donnell ’67 (Joe) passed away Sunday, January 7th due to declining health from cancer. Joe was a friend and mentor to many. He gave so much to so many in a selfless and passionate way. I am forever grateful for Joe’s leadership and support of the baseball program, to the players throughout the years, and to the many lives he touched in the Harvard community and beyond. Joe lived his life focused on people and their well-being. He was a true “gentle giant” who so graciously provided to the needs of others.
I am so thankful to have shared a part of my life with Joe as a friend and mentor. We have lost one of the very best. May Joe Rest in Peace.
Please join me in a moment of silence and prayer in Joe’s memory and in support of his wife Kathy, his daughter’s Kate and Casey, and their families!
God Bless –
Bill Decker
