Princeton Athletics Roars Forward On #TAGD
Over a 24-hour period on November 30, the Princeton Athletics community roared together as part of the 8th annual Tiger Athletics Give Day, raising a TAGD record $3.74 million across 6,624 donors in support of Princeton’s varsity student-athletes and teams. These efforts across all 17 Athletic Friends’ Groups and the Princeton Varsity Club helped eclipse the previous 24-hour giving high of $3.25 million from last year’s event.
The Athletics Friends Groups engaged in friendly competition throughout the day, competing for central bonus funds in the categories of Total Donors and Total Dollars. Additionally, the groups worked collectively to successfully secure 6,000 total donors across the department as part of this year’s Roaring Together challenge.

The Princeton Department of Athletics thanks all of the alumni, family and friends who engaged in the day and demonstrated their support in so many meaningful ways. Additionally, the department remains incredibly grateful for the Princeton Varsity Club Board of Directors, who once again joined together to contribute more than $200,000 in bonus funds (now more than $1.5 million through eight years of TAGD) to help drive the day.
Get Up, It’s #TAGD!
Time To Roar, Princeton!
