Baseball Announces 2022 Schedule – Princeton University Athletics
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers have announced their 2022 schedule, Robert H. Baldwin Head Coach of Baseball Scott Bradley announced today.
The Tigers will face seven teams that won at least 20 games in 2021 including last year’s national champion Mississippi State.
Princeton’s season starts with a neutral site series vs. Purdue (Feb. 25-26). The Tigers’ Spring Break trip features VCU (Mar. 5), Old Dominion (Mar. 6), Richmond (Mar. 7), Old Dominion (Mar. 8-9) and Mississippi State (Mar. 11-13). VCU (Altantic-10) and Old Dominion (Conference USA) won their conference titles while Mississippi State rallied from 1-0 deficit to defeat Vanderbilt in the College World Series Championship Series.
Bradley’s squad takes on Towson in a four-game set before starting Ivy League action at home vs. Yale (Mar. 26-27). Princeton heads to Columbia (Apr. 2-3) and Seton Hall (Apr. 6) before another series at Clarke Field vs. Cornell (Apr. 9-10).
The Tigers goes back on the road to take on Dartmouth (Apr. 16-17) before a four-game home stand vs. Rutgers (Apr. 20) and Harvard (Apr. 23-24).
Villanova (Apr. 27) and Brown (Apr. 30-May 1) complete the road portion of the 2022 schedule. The Tigers finish the season with Monmouth (May 4) and Penn (May 14-15).
