Ryan Smith – Tri-City Dust Devils – High A – Smith’s outstanding year continues as he’s struck out 13 across 12 innings in his last two starts. Across two leagues, the former Tiger sits with a 5-3 record and 2.12 ERA in 63 2/3 innings including 85 strikeouts and a WHIP of .75.
James Proctor – Daytona Tortugas – Low A – Proctor still remains on the disabled list. In 10 games for Daytona, Proctor has a 1.43 ERA in 37 2/3 innings with 51 strikeouts.
Jake Boone – Fredericksburg Nationals – Low A – Boone had two RBI last night against Lynchburg. He has eight runs scored and 7 RBI overall for the season.
Alec Keller – Rochester Red Wings – AAA – Keller still remains on the disabled list. In 22 games this year, Keller was outstanding producing a .311/.395/.432 slash line.
Mike Ford – Durham Bulls – AAA – Ford is currently on a nine-game hitting streak for the Bulls where he’s hitting .305/.353/.813. He has five home runs and 13 RBI during this stretch and has raised batting average 51 points.
